BrisDoc is very proud to have been awarded the contract to deliver the primary healthcare for the homeless population of Bristol. We will begin to deliver this service from 1st October this year. BrisDoc clinicians will see and treat homeless patients who visit the Compass Centre on Jamaica Street, Stokes Croft as well as outreach teams who actively go out into the community to seek homeless patients who may need our help.
A survey was undertaken by Audit South West for Urgent Health UK (UHUK), the Out of Hours member organisation, with staff from all organisation members encouraged to take part. Across 14 questions the survey sought the views of staff about BrisDoc’s culture with respect to patient safety. Our overall score was an impressive 81 compared to the survey average score of 78, the higher the score the more positive staff felt.
Every year BrisDoc take the chance to celebrate our members of staff who have reached substantial milestones working for BrisDoc and within local NHS services.
