Would you like to positively influence the high quality of care that SevernSide IUC service provides, whilst ensuring that our clinicians feel supported and valued? Are you a GP interested in being part of a multi-professional team that will have the flexibility and opportunity to shape the way in which they do this?
If so, come and be part of the SevernSide IUC Clinical Guardian team.
As a growing and dynamic health care provider, we are developing new ways of working in primary care and are seeking to appoint a salaried Clinical Guardian team consisting of six IUC ‘Guardian Clinicians’. We very much hope that the Guardian Clinician team will reflect the multi-professional IUC clinical workforce. This advert invites applications from IUC GPs to join the Clinical Guardian Team. Please note that Guardian team roles for Nurses and Allied Health Professionals will be advertised separately.
You will be part of a team of dedicated multi-professional clinicians that will work regularly for SevernSide IUC service, but also audit cases using the Clinical Guardian software to provide feedback and support to SevernSide’s IUC clinicians. You will also have direct input into the maintenance and development of content on the BrisDoc Clinical Toolkit, to ensure that it is relevant and up to date for all IUC clinicians working in the service. Guardian GPs will also contribute to inducting and supporting new clinicians starting to work in the IUC service, and there are opportunities for involvement in teaching and training.
The successful GP applicants will be motivated by the provision of high quality patient care, and have at least one year’s experience of working regularly in the IUC service. They will have excellent written and verbal communication skills to provide positive feedback to ensure that IUC clinicians feel supported and valued, and to support learning and reflection when required. They will be flexible in their approach, and able to work effectively as part of the Guardian Clinician team, as well as independently. This role provides an exciting opportunity to ensure patient care is of a high standard and to work in a culture that is friendly and open to innovation and change.
The Clinical Guardian team will review and support the high quality patient care that our IUC clinicians provide.
