Apprentice Medical Receptionist
We are seeking two Apprentice Medical Receptionists to work within our friendly Reception Teams at Broadmead Medical Practice and Charlotte Keel Medical Practice for a fixed-term of 15 months. Our specially tailored Medical Receptionist apprenticeship program is designed to provide a high quality route into working with BrisDoc. We want to invest in the potential of a talented candidate, seeking to provide them with the real-life work experience of working in a busy and challenging Medical Practice environment.
Our apprenticeship program works in partnership with City of Bristol college to support you to achieve your Level 3 Business and Administration BTEC Diploma. The apprentice will be required to attend college one day per week for 18 weeks. The training will be undertaken during work hours, during which you will also have the full support of your line manager to help you to exceed in the academic elements of the apprenticeship.
Hours, Salary and Benefits:
The role is 37.5 hours per week. For this role we have decided to pay above the Apprentice Wage, and pay at the rate of National Minimum Wage from £4.35 per hour for those aged 16, to £8.21 per hour for those aged 25 and over (from April 2019). Therefore, the salary ranges from £8,482.50 – £16,009.50 depending on age. The role may include occasional weekend work (likely up to one weekend per month).
