BrisDoc is a growing healthcare provider that is seeking to employ a part-time experienced Health Care Assistant (but would consider training for the right candidate) at Charlotte Keel Medical Practice.

The opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic experienced Health Care Assistant to join our large nursing team working mainly alongside the Treatment Room Nurses.
The post holder will be ideally an experienced HCA with a good knowledge of infection control procedures, understanding of the importance of patient care and regulatory frameworks. We are seeking a pro-active candidate who will strive to deliver a high standard of patient care. They will have, or be working towards, NVQ Level II or III in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
The main duties of the role include:
- Wound care
- New Patient Health checks
- NHS Health checks
- Health promotion, including smoking cessation
- Administering flu, pneumonia and shingles vaccinations and B12 injections
- Equipment calibration
- Equipment monitoring, eg vaccine fridge temperature
Hours: 35 hours per week, worked over 5 days, and may include Saturdays.
Salary: £17,108.44 – £20,041.31 per annum (pro rata) subject to qualifications and experience, with enhanced rates of pay on Saturdays.
Other benefits: NHS Pension (offering 14.38% employers contribution), eligible for discretionary bonus, opportunity to become a share-holder.
