BrisDoc provides the Severnside Integrated Urgent Care service for the NHS. The core purpose of this role is to co-ordinate the effective scheduling and deployment of clinical and mobile resources (cars, drivers, doctors and nurses) to manage the patient demand into the Integrated Urgent Care Service from the NHS111 generated dispatch queue. The role will involve working closely with the Clinical Co-ordinator and Shift Manager to ensure that appropriate decisions are taken about scheduling patients for an appointment at a treatment centre, a home visit or ensuring that the patient receives continuing clinical assessment and monitoring following NHS 111 triage or GP advice.
Successful applicants in this role will recognise the importance of a patient-focused service, have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, a good standard of IT literacy and willingness to sometimes work in more than one of our bases within Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
Hours: Our services operate on a rolling 4 week rota and our current workforce requirements are for part time roles.
This would be based at a combination of Osprey Court in Whitchurch and Nicholson House, Stoke Gifford, Bristol
We operate on Bank Holidays and expect all staff to offer some availability over these days.
- Salary – Starting at £9.64 per hour, increasing to £9.89 per hour following completion of successful probation.
