BrisDoc’s GP Out of Hours Service received a Quality Assurance (QA) visit from the Severn Deanery in June. The aim of their visit was to asses the training environment and supervision provided by BrisDoc to GP trainees undergoing their Out of Hours placement. The Deanery were incredibly impressed with what they found giving BrisDoc an A grade (excellent) and gave us the following feedback:
- “BrisDoc is a truly exceptional OOH training environment for GP Student Trainees – thank you!”.
- “Supervisors are great, very varied experiences but on the whole really engaging and keen to teach so very positive.”
- “…would say that the support from the BrisDoc team is excellent. They are very keen to learn from events that have occurred and are very supportive when things happen in the OOH setting.”
- “I’ve found all the supervisors and other staff really supportive and welcoming.”
Thank you to all our Supervisors, Rota Team and all of the operational staff on shift who make this happen. If anyone is interested in becoming a Clinical Supervisor please contact Traci Clutterbuck on traci.clutterbuck@brisdoc.org.
