Meet our leadership team
Dr Ray Montague: BrisDoc Executive Chair
Founded BrisDoc: 2001
Additional roles: Senior Partner at Hillview Family Practice
About: I was brought up on both sides of the Atlantic, and still swim as much as I can. I also love my music and enjoy jazz and blowing my own trumpet. I trained as a GP in Exeter and have been at my practice in Hartcliffe for 24 years. I helped start BrisDoc and remain in awe of how far it has progressed since those simple beginnings.
My mission as Executive Chairman: To enthuse and support everyone throughout the organisation, from the Board of Directors to staff on the front line in the important endeavour of delivering “patient care by people who care”; and to keep throwing in the odd idea every now and then, to keep us on our toes.
Find me: I often do clinical shifts at weekends and am at Osprey Court Head Office most Tuesdays and Thursday afternoons.

His mission as Interim CEO:
To provide steady, values-led leadership that keeps BrisDoc focused on what matters most: delivering safe, compassionate, and sustainable “patient care by people who care.” Lewis aims to support teams, strengthen partnerships, and help ensure BrisDoc remains resilient, innovative, and true to its social purpose.
