Keep Bristol Warm

The BrisDoc Community Fund teamed up with ‘Keep Bristol Warm’ on the weekend of 6th December, donating and handing out 34 rucksacks for the homeless, fully loaded with warm clothes, hats, gloves, toiletries, food, torches, socks, underwear, thermal vests and more! We also donated 30 sleep mats and 3 sleeping bags.

The ‘Keep Bristol Warm’ event took place in the Bristol “Bear Pit”. Local cafes and coffee shops also got involved offering hot drinks where customers could purchase an extra beverage which a homeless person could then claim. These acts of kindness helped restore a little dignity and faith to the homeless society.

We would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to all members of BrisDoc staff who got involved, donating warm clothes, food and time to fill and hand out the backpacks. This was a great team effort that will really make a difference to Bristol homeless people this winter – THANK YOU.
