There’s ‘snow’ stopping Chris Dykes
BrisDoc’s Lead GP Dr Chris Dykes had been training hard in preparation to run an incredible 46 mile Green Man Ultra Marathon around Bristol on the 3rd March. What Chris didn’t plan for was having to compete against Storm Emma and the Beast form the East.
‘Officially’ the race was cancelled due to the conditions but a group of dedicated runners joined together (18 in total), to slog it out through the snowy fields. Chris managed to stumble over the finish in a little over 9 hrs.
Chris has asked us to pass on a huge thank you for all the support. In total Chris managed to raise in excess of £1200! (inc gift aid)
