Collective Inspiration The awards celebrated the collective brilliance of UHUK members who represent 64% of the UK’s population through their healthcare services. These members are at the forefront, easing the pressures on emergency services and pioneering innovative care pathways.
BrisDoc’s Frailty-ACE Service: Best Innovation
We are humbled and proud to receive the Best Innovation award for our Frailty-ACE Service. The Frailty-ACE presents a novel approach, focusing on remotely coordinating the urgent health and care needs of frail individuals, averting potential hospital admissions.
Acknowledging Peers and Partners
The awards also highlighted the exemplary work of many of our peers. From NHUC’s collaborative ARI Hub, which implemented a ‘no wrong door’ policy, to Primary Care 24’s vital vaccination programme for Asylum Seekers, the commitment to health equality and patient care was evident.
DHU Healthcare’s Experience Insights platform set a benchmark for patient engagement through their cloud-based, multi-channel data collection, while Cumbria Health on Call’s Social Day Care Unit was lauded for its profound social impact on vulnerable groups.
