Job overview
The core purpose of the role is taking the calls from Health Care Professionals and entering them onto our patient database system for our clinical team to triage as part of a team.
Successful applicants in this role will recognise the importance of a patient-focused service, have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, a good standard of IT literacy and have high attention to detail.
- Hours: Part time 8 hours (weekend only) (1x shift per week)
- Rates of pay: £13.72 per hour Weekday & weekday evening, £15.37 per hour weekends and overnights

- Locations: Primarily based in Osprey Court although could be expected to attend various bases within Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire

Main duties of the job
- To answer calls to the professional line from health care professionals.
- To guarantee a professional and informed response to the caller.
- To process external referrals into Integrated Urgent Care via professional sources other than NHS 111 e.g. ambulance service, pathology results, community teams.
- To ensure that such referrals are accurately entered onto the patient database system.
- To follow our safety calling process to ensure patient safety.
