Over recent months, we’ve welcomed a significant number of employed GPs into our service, enhancing our workforce and achieving one of our most stable and well-supported rotas to date.
While we are not actively recruiting additional GPs at present, we recognise that circumstances continually evolve. We are keen to stay connected with clinicians who share our values and ethos, and who may be interested in joining us in the future.

About Working with BrisDoc
We offer a unique portfolio of clinical options, comprehensive support, and flexible working patterns through our SevernSide Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) service. When future roles become available, GPs joining us have the opportunity to build a genuinely tailored career, carefully balanced between personal well-being and professional growth.
Our IUC Service Includes:
- Face-to-face consultations at local Treatment Centres
- Mobile home-visiting service
- Telephone triage (including remote working options)
- Clinical Coordinator roles for experienced clinicians
Our service operates 24/7, 365 days a year, providing shift options across evenings, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
Future GP Roles May Include:
When roles become available, GPs at BrisDoc may be involved in:
- GP Out of Hours – urgent care through face-to-face, telephone, and home visits
- Weekday Professional Line – peer-to-peer telephone triage for clinicians
- IUC System CAS – collaborative, multi-professional hub reducing emergency department admissions
- Frailty ACE – dedicated community care for frail patients
- Practice Services – including Broadmead Medical Centre, Charlotte Keel Medical Practice, and Homeless Health Services
- Governance and Leadership – influential opportunities for professional development
Our Employment Packages – GP Flex and GP Plus
When opportunities arise, we typically offer two employment packages:
GP Flex – Maximum Flexibility

GP Plus – Regularity with Added BenefitsDesigned for GPs preferring a more predictable schedule, GP Plus offers structured shift patterns, enhanced benefits, and early rota access while maintaining work-life balance.
Salary, Locations and Benefits
Indicative Salary Range:
£84,975 – £142,342 per annum
(Salary determined by role type, service area, and working pattern.)

Who We’re Keen to Connect With

Essential Criteria:
- Full GMC registration on the GP Register
- Inclusion on the NHS England Performer’s List
- MRCGP qualification
Desirable Experience:
- Teaching or GP training involvement
- Familiarity with the BNSSG healthcare system
- Experience in urgent or unscheduled care
- EMIS clinical system knowledge
- Acute or general medical experience
