Charlotte Keel Medical Practice celebrated the first phase of its transformation on Friday 12 September 2025, welcoming patients and local residents alongside Helen Godwin (Mayor of the West of England), Kerry McCarthy (MP for Bristol East), leaders from BNSSG NHS Integrated Care Board, and local voluntary and community partners.

Today marks a very special moment for BrisDoc. As of 8:00 AM this morning, we have officially transitioned to our new patient management system, CLEO, across all of our Integrated Urgent Care services.

We’re pleased to share an update following the news that BrisDoc has been awarded the long-term contract to run Charlotte Keel Medical Practice. This 15-year agreement brings lasting stability and gives us the opportunity to invest in meaningful improvements for our patients and community.

This week, the UK Supreme Court issued a ruling clarifying the legal definition of the word ‘woman’ under the Equality Act 2010 — a decision that has prompted significant public attention and a wide range of responses. At BrisDoc, we want to take this moment to reaffirm what we stand for.
