This month, we had the honour of attending the prestigious UK Social Enterprise Awards. We were shortlisted in the 'Innovation of the Year' category for our collaborative work in the Mental Health Integrated Access Partnership (IAP).

We are delighted to extend our warmest congratulations to Dr. Shaba Nabi, Lead GP at Charlotte Keel Medical Practice, on her recent appointment as the new Chair of our Local Medical Committee (LMC).

Frailty-ACE (Assessment and Coordination of Emergency and urgent care) is an innovative approach to coordinating the health and care responses required to manage frail people at home, when a crisis would otherwise result in conveyance to the Emergency Department (ED) and/ or medical admission.

We are humbled and proud to receive the Best Innovation award for our Frailty-ACE Service. The Frailty-ACE presents a novel approach, focusing on remotely coordinating the urgent health and care needs of frail individuals, averting potential hospital admissions. 

In an unexpected turn of events, Dr Mike Taylor of BrisDoc’s Homeless Health Service seized an opportunity at the “Who Cares Wins” national Awards. Sitting next to none other than Sir Stephen Powis, the Medical Director of NHS England, Dr Taylor extended an invite to see our Homeless Health service operations in action.
