We are thrilled to announce, BrisDoc's Homeless Health Nursing Team are finalists at this years Nursing Times Awards.

This month saw BrisDoc's annual rounders tournament. Once again, the weather was on our side as the teams enjoyed glorious sunshine alongside a tasty BBQ and a few drinks to boot. 

We are also pleased to announce that we have become supporters of the Good Employment Charter.

The West of England Good Employment Charter is a voluntary accreditation scheme that aims to improve employment standards in the West of England for organisations of all sizes and sectors, through characteristics that will raise the value and quality of work.

After two long years of cancelations due to covid, we have finally been able to celebrate the BrisDoc Long Service Awards.

We are proud to say that we have now been recognised and accredited as a Real Living Wage Employer.

For a number of years, BrisDoc has been an aspiring Real Living Wage Employer. One who makes sure that every member of the team receives a wage inline with the 'real' cost of living.

This year we’re celebrating 50 years of Pride in the UK. At that first Pride in 1972, around 2,000 participants marched together, calling for gay rights. By 2019, London Pride saw 1.5 million people celebrate and protest in support of LGBTQ+ rights. 

BrisDoc is delighted to announce that we has been shortlisted as a finalist in three separate categories at this year's HSJ Patient Safety Awards, recognising our outstanding contribution to healthcare. 

The award was in recognition of Ollie's great effort, personal achievement and benefit to the community and was presented by Princess Anne at a ceremony in London

Whilst many of us were glued to the news and social media waiting for updates, BrisDoc's Dr Simon Flower, a Weekday Professional Line GP, was the medic on call for the Mendip Caving Rescue team and was one of the first on scene to help with the rescue mission.
