Team Belinda, made up of Danielle Townsend, Liz Turner, Jess Turner and Phil Clarke all successfully completed the Bristol Half Marathon yesterday in memory of Belinda Clarke who passed away in February this year after sadly losing her battle to cancer. The team would like to share a HUGE THANK YOU for all the donations and words of encouragement.

Team Members from Charlotte Keel Medical Centre raising money for St Peter’s Hospice

We are a team of family and close friends of Belinda who enjoy running, like Belinda did too and couldn’t think of a better way to raise some money for charity.

Liz Turner: Raising money for Guy’s & St. Thomas’ Kidney Patients Association
In January this year, BrisDoc's Lead Nurse at Charlotte Keel, Liz Turner, donated her kidney to help her nephew Philip. This was his second transplant, his first transplant was age 7. He and his family have received fantastic support from the Guy’s and St Thomas’ Kidney Patient Association for many years.

Raising awareness of Measles and MMR vaccination within Somali communities
On Thursday 19th July, a community outreach session was held at Carr House in St Pauls. The main aim was to increase awareness of measles and MMR vaccinations to the Somali community.

NHS70: Celebrating 70 years of the NHS
The National Health Service turned 70 on 5th July 2018 and many of our staff at BrisDoc have taken the opportunity to celebrate in honour of this.
